Rajim, situated in Raipur district at the confluence of the Mahanadi, Pairi, and Sondur rivers, is an ancient town renowned for its cluster of ancient temples. Often referred to as the 'Prayag of Chhattisgarh', Rajim has been a significant religious center since the Gupta period (4th–6th centuries CE).
